An action-packed Monday Night Football (MNF) awaits us in week 6, with not 1 but 2 games starting within an hour of each other. These two games will be the final games of yet another week of entertainment in the NFL.

Who’s playing on Monday Night Football Tonight?

As mentioned earlier, tonight, MNF will have a double-header, with the first game featuring the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills. The Falcons will take the field after enjoying their bye week in week 5. They will have the advantage of additional rest, but on the other side are the Bills, who have gotten off to a flying start with a 4-1 record.

The second game of the double-header will be between the Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears. The Commanders are currently 3-2 but will be missing key wide receiver Terry McClaurin due to an injury.

As for the Bears, they are still 2-2 after their bye week in week 5. Chicago will be the fresher of the two teams, and Caleb Williams will head into this matchup with a score to settle after last season’s Hail Mary touchdown that saw the Commanders pull off a win.

Falcons vs Bills Head-to-Head Record Ahead of MNF

As the Falcons and the Bills play in separate conferences, these two teams have met only 13 times to date. Atlanta currently holds a very slim 7-6 head-to-head lead, but the Bills are 2-0 in the teams’ last two meetings in 2017 and more recently in 2022.

The Bills won the last matchup 29-15 despite Josh Allen having a tough day. He finished with just 120 passing yards on 11 of 26 completions with no touchdowns and 3 interceptions. It was the Bills’ run game that helped them score 4 touchdowns, with 2 from Devin Singletary and 2 from Josh Allen.

Commanders vs Bears Head-to-Head Record Ahead of MNF

The Commanders and the Bears have met a total of 54 times, with the Commanders holding a slight lead of 28-25-1. In the regular season, the teams have met 47 times, and Washington again holds a 24-22-1 record.

The last time these two teams met was just last season. It was a matchup between the number one and number two overall draft picks of the 2024 NFL draft. Jayden Daniels’ last-second Hail Mary won the game for the Commanders (18-15) as he finished with 326 passing yards and a touchdown, while Williams had just 131 passing yards.

What Time Does Week 6 Monday Night Football Start?

The first of double-header games between the Falcons and the Bills will begin at 7:15 p.m. ET from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

The second game featuring the Commanders and the Falcons has a kick-off time of 8:15 p.m. ET with the game being played at Northwest Stadium (Landover, Maryland).

Week 6 Monday Night Football Result Prediction

Game 1: Falcons vs Bills

The Bills head into this week 6 matchup as the favorites with a 4-1 record. Josh Allen and James Cook have been the key players for the Bills as their overall run and pass game has been a well-balanced winning formula.

The Falcons are having an up-and-down season so far, but the bye week could have come at the right time for them. Nevertheless, the Bills should be able to come through with a win in Atlanta.

Game 2: Commanders vs Bears

As for the Bears, they started 0-2 before winning the next 2 in a row. They carry a winning momentum and are well rested from their bye week, and could surprise the Commanders tonight.
