Which players will be participating in NBA All-Star 3-point contest?
As the name conveys, the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest is a competition where players show their dunking skills to the public. It was started during the 1976 ABA All-Star Game but was short-lived due to the merger between the ABA and the NBA.
However, during the NBA All-Star Weekend in 1984, the league came up with its own Slam Dunk Contest, and it went on to become one of the most popular events.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant is the youngest player to win the slam dunk contest at the age of 18.

Dominique Wilkins, on the other hand, is the oldest player to win the slam dunk contest at the age of 30.
The contest has been following the two-round format since the 2002 edition. A total of four players participate in the competition among which two advance to the final. The dunkers have one minute and 30 seconds to complete a dunk and are given one extra try.
Each participant comes up with two dunks in the first round, and the two players who score the highest advance to the final round.
The final round scoring is based on the two dunks of the players, which is assessed by the panel of five judges. Their score in the first round is not taken into account during the final judgement.
The four participants for this year’s Slam Dunk Contest are:
The Slam Dunk winner will get $100,000 while the runner-up will take home $50,000. The other two contestants will get $25,000 each.
The NBA Slam Dunk Contest 2025 will take place on Saturday, February 15. Fans can watch the action live on TNT and TruTV.
The Live Streaming will be available on Max, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV.
