Unveiling Simone Inzaghi’s Next Move: Top Destinations for the Tactical Genius in 2025

Just three days after the 5-0 UCL Final defeat to PSG, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi announced he would be parting ways with the club this summer. As the Club World Cup 2025 is scheduled for later in June, Inzaghi’s next club announcement could come sooner than it appears given the Italian manager’s record.

Inzaghi who took over Inter Milan in 2021 guided the Nerazzuri to two Serie A titles, three Supercoppa Italiana and two UCL Finals during the reign. Given that the 49-year-old has decided to move on, clubs from all over the world will be interested in recruiting Inzaghi. Moreover, the transfer rumours have also already started to sparkle as the CWC 2025 approaches.

Simone Inzaghi Next Club – Al-Hilal’s Lucrative Saudi Pro League Offer

Inzaghi started his managerial career with Lazio U20s in 2014. Taking over the Lazio senior squad just three years into the youth teams coaching, Inzaghi proved his abilities in no time. As the Italian is open to new opportunities, here are a few of the clubs strongly linked to Inzaghi over the summer:

Al-Hilal (Saudi Pro League)

Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League is the strongest contender for Inzaghi’s next destination, according to multiple sources. Since Jorge Jesus left in May 2025, Al-Hilal has been without a permanent head coach.

Al-Hilal will compete in the Club World Cup 2025 as they desperately need a new coach to enter the competition. Moreover, following the second-place finish in the Saudi Pro League, Inzaghi will also be aiming towards improvising in the coming season should he come to Al-Hilal.

Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League)

Despite the strong finish to the season winning the Europa League 2025, Ange Postecoglou’s position at Tottenham Hotspur is not completely safe. Following the Premier League season with 22 defeats, the Lilywhites could mark it as unforgivable despite the silverware after 17 years.

Inzaghi is one of the top-sought candidates in the Tottenham board for their next manager as per several reports. His efficient squad management ability to overcome hurdles and work adaptability could be a good fit at the Lane should he move to London.

Other Serie A Clubs

While it is less likely, Inzaghi could potentially stay in Italy with a Serie A club. Speculations on X have suggested Juventus as a potential destination, with some implying that Inter’s board is considering Massimiliano Allegri as Inzaghi’s successor, implying a possible swap. Inzaghi’s familiarity with the league and his brother Filippo’s connections also make AC Milan a possible choice. Nevertheless, no reputed reports have surfaced linking him to these clubs.
