What Time Is The Philadelphia Eagles Game Today? Philadelphia Eagles NFC Conference Championship Game TV Channel, Kick-Off Time And More

Eric Divakaran

The Philadelphia Eagles are back! Ever since they lost to Mahomes and the Chiefs at the Super Bowl couple of years back, they must be really hungry to get back and win it all. They have quietly won most of their games, all season long and are now looking to creep back into the Superbowl once again. The Eagles were one of the best teams this season and were 14-3 throughout. Their offense has looked more efficient, thanks to the addition of Saquon Barkley, and their defense has improved after a horrendous season in 2023.

The off-season pursuit of, running back, Saquon Barkley has been a blessing for the Eagles. He is exactly what the team needed and Barkley had an MVP-like season. On the other hand, A.J Brown, wide receiver for the Eagles, has also been balling all season long. Posting 1079 receiving yards, 7 touchdowns, and 67 receptions.

In the past two years, Brown had to handle a lot for the Eagles’ offense and acquiring Barkley has relieved him off of some pressure. Brown had the lowest pass target (97) since his rookie season but was highly efficient when his chances arrived.

This season, the Eagles offense seems more potent, versatile, and unpredictable. Which is why Jalen Hurts is thriving now. Earlier, Hurts just had to do way too much for the Eagles. This resulted in a lot of turnovers and interceptions. However, the weapons they’ve added to their squad has helped Hurt’s efficiency from the field. He posted his career best pass completion percentage at 68.7, and only had 5 interceptions (lowest since his rookie season). He also only attempted 361 passes, which is also the lowest since his rookie season. It seems all Hurts cares about is winning a Superbowl at this point.

The Eagles’ diverse offense has now gotten them to the NFC Championship round. They beat the L.A Rams in the divisional round and the Packers in the Wildcard round of the playoffs so far, and are looking forwards to reach the Superbowl again.

So, what time is the Eagles game today and who do the Eagles play in the NFC Championship Game? Let’s find out!

Who do the Philadelphia Eagles play?

The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Washington Commanders for the NFC Conference Championship round of the 2024-25 NFL Playoffs. The Eagles will play in their homefield, known as the Lincoln Financial Field.

As mentioned earlier, there’s a lot of versatility going on for the Eagles’ offense and Nick Sirianni, head coach for the Eagles, has made that happen. You have to the man his credit as he changed the way things were handled. He switched from a Jalen Hurts focused offense, to an all-round offense. Now, everybody looks dangerous and it is not just one man.

How do I know, Sirianni has changed his ways? It’s simple, look at the amount of passes attempted by Hurts, the interceptions he’s thrown, and the amount of games won. Hurts threw 15 interceptions in the 2023 season compared to just 5, in the 2024 season. Many people pointed out the flaw in the Eagles’ dependency on Hurts. “The doing way too much,’ narrative was accurate until last season. So Sirianni has finally changed his ways.

The Commanders will not be an easy task but the Eagles should most definitely come out on top. With Mahomes feeling under the weather with his ankle, this Eagles’ chances to win are better than ever before.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
