The Washington Commanders have been on fire so far. They started by winning the wildcard round of the playoffs and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After beating the Bucs, they faced their toughest challenge in Detroit Lions. Surprisingly, the Lions played the worst defense of their season in the divisional round and now, here comes the Commanders. They have now reached the Conference championship round and it will only get harder from here on out. However, they have just two more games to win, to create history.
It’s almost cliche talking about how good Jayden Daniels has been in 2024 but here we are. Daniels is one of the biggest reasons, the Commanders are all the way into the NFC Championship round. It all started with his outstanding rookie campaign, posting up 3568 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 891 rushing yards, and 6 touchdowns. He also had a pass completion rate of 69%, and QB rating of 70.5 percent. He outstanding season earned him a pro-bowl nod and a deep playoff run.

While Daniels has been huge for the Commanders, so has Terry McLaurin. McLaurin, wide receiver for the Commanders, also earned a pro-bowl nod and was selected to the All-Pro 2nd team. He posted numbers such as 1096 receiving yards, 13 receiving touchdowns, and caught 82 passes. Brian Robinson Jr. has also been in excellent form in the playoffs. He has helped the Commanders tremendously with his rushing ability posting two touchdowns so far in the postseason.
Last but not the least is head coach, Dan Quinn who has been stellar for his team. It his just his first season and he has already set the standard for the Commanders, which is to win at all costs. Under his coaching, the Commanders have the highest fourth-down conversion percentage and he has a chance to take his team all the way into the Super Bowl.

Dan Quinn has had answers for every defensive coverage he’s seen and so far, there is no stopping the Commanders. The Commanders were 12-5 in the regular season and are the number 6th seed whereas their opponents are the No. 2 seed. Quinn has taken down the number one seed and to take down the Eagles, it will all boil down to the coach’s plays.
The Washington Commanders will play the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC Championship round. The game is set to kick-off at 3:00pm EST/12:00pm PT on January 26th, from the Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
