The Chiefs are heading to Jacksonville in week 5 for a clash with the 3-1 Jaguars!
The Kansas City Chiefs will play their week 5 game on Monday Night Football’s prime-time slot. The Chiefs enter this game on the back of two consecutive wins over the New York Giants and the Baltimore Ravens and carry a 2-2 record into tonight.
After falling to a 0-2 start for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes’ era, the Chiefs seem to be back on track. The defense is holding up well, giving up around 19 points per game, while the offense found some rhythm with Xavier Worthy coming back in week 4 after his shoulder injury in the season opener.
Up next is the chance to go above .500 for the first time this season if they can pull off a road win in week 5. That said, let us take a look at the Chiefs’ next opponents tonight on MNF.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play their week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jaguars are coming into tonight’s game with a 3-1 record, following an impressive 26-21 win over the San Francisco 49ers last week.
Jacksonville’s defense has also done a fine job in limiting the number of points they have given up. The Jaguars currently rank 4th with an average of 18 points given per game. On offense, while Trevor Lawrence has struggled under center, running back Travis Etienne has been having an exceptional year with 394 yards from just 4 games.
The MNF game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars is scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m. ET from Jacksonville, Florida.
This is the last game of week 5, and a win for the Chiefs will bring them alongside the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers atop the AFC West. As for the Jaguars, a win will take them to 4-1 and put them atop the AFC South along with the Indianapolis Colts.

nfl I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
