The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been dominating the NFC South division for the past few years. Although the NFC South is one of the weakest divisions in the league currently, Tampa Bay’s consistency has paid off.

Following the retirement of Tom Brady, the Bucs have been helped by a resurgence from former Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, who has finally started living up to his expectations. Mike Evans remains a top receiver and his pairing with Chris Godwin means the receiver room is still intact.

The Buccaneers have added Haason Reddick at linebacker to give a boost to their second level of defense. Overall, Tampa has quite a good roster but adding depth pieces is always important at this level.

What Are the Bucs’ Draft Picks in 2025?

The Buccaneers, who finished last season with a 10-7 record, will have only 6 picks at their disposal as things stand at the moment. Unless they are part of any trades, the Bucs will have a number of picks and the order will not change. They have a first round draft pick at number 19 overall. Positional Needs for the Bucs

Despite adding Haason Reddick to the mix, another body at the edge could help bolster the Buccaneers’ pass rush. As the Bucs have one of the more complete rosters in the league, they could use this opportunity to draft a future replacement for Lavonte David and someone like

Jihaad Campbell is one of the top linebackers in this class, and he could be available for the Bucs at pick number 19 overall. Campbell seems like a good fit in Todd Bowles’ defensive system. On the edge, Shemar Stewart is an option they could look at pursuing.

As far as the offense is concerned, it looks like the team is in good shape to continue building from last season. However, it will be important to add depth pieces towards the back end of the draft.
