The Seahawks ranked 14th in total offense, led by former quarterback Geno Smith, who was sacked 50 times in the regular season due to their porous offensive line. The were ranked 14th in total defense, showing improvement under coach Macdonald’s scheme, finishing 6-2 in their final eight games. Some of their key performers included Pro Bowlers Devon Witherspoon, Jaxon-Smith Njigba, and Leonard Williams, who were all selected to the Pro Bowl. Last season laid a solid foundation for 2025, though their offensive line and defensive depth remains to be area of concern.

Positional Needs for the Seahawks

The Seahawks have a urgent need for starting-caliber guards and depth at the center to improve pass protection and run blocking.
While they just signed Cooper Kupp, the fact remains that he’s an aging receiver. The Seahawks could use youth to complement their other receiver Jaxon Smith- Njigba, who is already one of the best wideouts in the game.
The Seahawks could also use another linebacker as they need depth behind Ernest Jones and Tyrice Knight to improve their run defense.
