Week 8 Monday Night Football: Who is playing on Monday Night Football tonight?

Ashwin Rawat

Week 8 of the 2024 NFL regular season is set to conclude with another AFC vs. NFC contest. Week 8 gave us plenty to be excited about, both before and after games. Be it the Tyrique Stevenson fiasco or Trevon Diggs losing his cool on Mike Leslie, the Ravens losing to Jameis Winston’s heroics or Detroit Lions proving to be an offensive menace once again; there was never a dull moment!

So, who is playing on Monday Night Football in Week 8? Let’s find out!

Who plays Monday Night Football tonight?

Week 8 Monday Night Football tonight will feature a clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) and the New York Giants (2-5). Two teams with contrasting win-loss records this regular season, the Steelers will be hosting the Giants for a home game.

The Russell Wilson show against the Jets is still fresh in memory as the veteran quarterback who stepped in for Justin Fields made history on his debut for the Steelers. Though many raised concern with Mike Tomlin making changes to a side that was winning, it all became clear with the introduction of Wilson to the Steelers. The offensive unit looked good and finally got the plays running.

The Giants have some serious concerns to address. Except for their wins over the Seahawks and the Cleveland Brown, Daniel Jones and co. have struggled a lot, in almost every aspect of the game. They will find some relief in the fact that they are 2-1 on the road, which is better than the 0-4 record they have at home this season.

Steelers vs. Giants Location: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
