The Washington Mystics will welcome the New York Liberty in one of the anticipated clashes on Friday, May 30. After recording a formidable season last year and getting crowned as the champions, the Liberty are maintaining the same kind of dominance in WNBA 2025. Having played five games so far, New York is undefeated and would aim to continue the same kind of momentum going ahead.

They will go back-to-back in the season following their 82-77 win over the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday. On the other hand, the Mystics, who kicked off their 2025 season with two straight wins, will head into the Friday-night clash off an 83-77 win against the Indiana Fever. This will be the first clash between the reigning champions and the Mystics in the 2025 season.

The Mystics have listed Sika Kone as Questionable for the upcoming game due to her wrist injury. They have Georgia Amoore and Bernadett missing action as both are out for the season. While Amoore’s Knee injury keeps her out, Hatar is out without an injury.

Nyara Sabally will miss her third straight game as the Liberty visit Phoenix on Friday.
