Warriors vs Nuggets- Will Nikola Jokic Play Tonight?

The Denver Nuggets are back in action for a high-octane game against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, March 17. Seeded third in the Western Conference standings, the Nuggets recorded a narrow 126-123 loss to the Washington Wizards in their previous fixture.

Their star center Nikola Jokic, who recently surpassed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the MVP ladder, came up with a notable performance. He nearly missed a triple-double and finished with 40 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.

Jokic had entered the game with ankle and elbow issues but put up an entertaining show.

On the flip note, the Warriors are coming on the back of a seven-game winning streak. In their last fixture, they handed a 97-94 loss to the New York Knicks.

Will Nikola Jokic Play Tonight?

Jokic has come up with several exemplary performances this season, including his 30-20-20 hist oric t riple-double. The 30-year-old has been maintaining a solid average with 29.1 points, 12.8 rebounds and 10.3 assists per game this season.

Now that the regular season is winding up, the Nuggets would have wanted him to suit up against the Warriors. However, the Joker has landed himself on the Nuggets’ injury report.

He has been listed questionable with right elbow contusion/ left ankle impingement. Apart from him, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon have also been listed questionable with right ankle sprain and calf injury management as well as left ankle sprain, respectively.

Christian Braun, who scored nine points, three rebounds and four assists against the Wizards has been listed as probable.

In addition, Julian Strawther and Daron Holmes II have been sidelined from the game with left knee sprain and right achilles tendon repair, respectively.
