The Golden State Warriors fans will witness the return of ‘Splash Brother’ Klay Thompson, though he’ll be donning a different jersey this time. Warriors will host the Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center on Tuesday in what promises to be an emotional return for Thompson.

It will be his first visit to Chase Center since his departure to the Mavericks this offseason. Fans are eagerly anticipating the warm welcome for “Captain Klay,” who will be honored with Captain’s Hats presented by Kaiser Permanente.

Warriors Team News and Predicted Lineup

Ahead of the crucial game, the Warriors have an almost clean injury report, with the exception of Andrew Wiggins, who is questionable due to a lower back strain. He missed two games earlier in the season with a similar issue.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks, who have had a rollercoaster start to the season so far have few injury concerns entering this game.

Luka Doncic was listed as questionable with a left groin strain prior to Mavericks’ game against the Denver Nuggets. However, the star point guard played 41 minutes and contributed with 24 points. He has been listed as probable for the Warriors’ fixture but is likely to start.

Meanwhile, Dereck Lively II is questionable with a right shoulder sprain. P.J. Washington is doubtful due to a right knee sprain, and both Dante Exum (right wrist surgery) and Jazian Gortman (G League – Two-Way) remain sidelined.
