Gulshan Sharma

Both Warriors and Lakers would look to gain winning momentum from their recent slump in the West.

Los Angeles Lakers (16-13) and Golden State Warriors (15-13) will meet in the highly anticipated clash on the NBA Christmas Day. LeBron James and Stephen Curry will go head to head in another exciting matchup on Christmas. Both teams would look to find a winning momentum after a recent slump.

Warriors, who ended their road losing streak against the Wolves last week, dropped a home game against the Pacers 105-111. Steph Curry had a disappointing outing and the Golden State dropped 10th of their last 13 games. Steve Kerr’s side are eighth in the West and lost their last two games at Chase Center.

On the other hand, the Lakers saw their torrid run of form continue as they fell to a 114-117 defeat against the Pistons. JJ Redick’s side committed 20 turnovers in the game and snapped a three-game winning streak. LeBron James, who had a couple of poor outings before turning 40, dropped his eighth triple-double of the season with 28 points on 10-16 shooting from the field.

Warriors and Lakers always excite us with a thrilling matchups and LeBron James can understand it very well who had faced the heat against the Warriors during his time with the Caves. Sitting in the middle of the conference table, both teams would look to present their fans a Christmas gift.
