Exciting Clashes and Expanded Dreams: UEFA’s Road to the 2026 World Cup
Following a surprising season of club football, the players will head to their National Team Squads as the UEFA World Cup Qualifiers Round 3/4 will commence in June 2025. With the two match days gone, the clubs exiting from the Nations League will also kick off their WC Qualifiers campaign.
Nations like England, Italy, Belgium and Croatia are some of the biggest names in action in the WC Qualifiers in June. Moreover, Wales, Austria and Norway will also take on their respective opponents as two match days will commence over three days in early June.

FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place in the United States of America and Canada in June next year. With the format expanded to 48 teams from 32, the first revised edition is aimed at broader participation from all over the world. The competition will also see a total of 104 matches, a 47% increase from the 64 in 2022.
