Tyreek Hill’s epic RKO touchdown celebration has fans talking!
The Miami Dolphins entered Monday night’s showdown against the Los Angeles Rams with a real need for victory. Coming off a three-game slump, the Dolphins got a spark from Tyreek Hill, who delivered a stellar performance, with his WWE-inspired touchdown celebration turning even more heads.
Around five and a half minutes left in the third quarter, the Dolphins led 10-6 when Tua Tagovailoa dropped back in the red zone and hit Hill for a touchdown. After the catch, Hill rallied with his teammates to perform a celebration that paid homage to WWE star Randy Orton’s “RKO,” as shared on SportsCenter’s X (formerly Twitter) page.

The playful “clothesline” moment between Hill and Odell Beckham Jr. was entertaining, but Jaylen Waddle sealing the celebration with a “three-count” as the referee made it unforgettable. Long live the “No Fun League.”
Hill’s touchdown in the third quarter pushed Miami’s lead to 17-6. Odell Beckham Jr. joined in for the RKO-style move, channeling Randy Orton’s iconic maneuver.
While some fans worried about the players’ health, others took light-hearted jabs, mindful of Miami’s injury struggles this season. Here’s how they reacted:

“Tyreek Hill: I have a torn ligament in my wrist. Also Tyreek Hill: does dumbest TD celebration for a guy with a torn ligament in his wrist. Not a very intelligent person.”

Hill had been dealing with a wrist injury leading into this game and claimed that an earlier “detainment” by police contributed to the aggravation.
According to Lisa Salters on the broadcast, this issue actually started back in training camp but worsened after his interaction with law enforcement. Not that you’d know it, judging from his energetic touchdown celebration against the Rams on Monday Night Football.

I write about sports because, well, it brings in the big bucks! I’m not some lifelong analyst or stats guru, truth being told, you’ve probably never heard of me!—I just know how to research, write, and make things sound good. That’s the job!
Got into sports media the same way most people do: by (fortunate) accident. Started with SEO writing, took on a few sports gigs, and now here we are! I cover games, trades, player drama—whatever needs words.
Favorite part? The chaos. One day it’s a blockbuster trade, the next it’s a goat running onto the field. Never boring.
Message to readers: If you want deep analysis, there are people for that. If you want sharp, no-BS writing that actually makes sense, stick around.
