Tyler Warren’s Physical Attributes Ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft

Tyler Warren is one of the best tight end prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft Class. He comes from a family filled with athletes as his father, Terry, played football at Richmond. Sister, Kelly, played softball at East Tennessee State, and even his grandfather and grandmother played football and basketball, respectively, at the collegiate level. Tyler was a four-star recruit who joined Penn State in 2020.

As a true freshman, he appeared in two games. In his freshman season, Warren appeared in 13 games and had 5 receptions, 61 yards, and a touchdown. The following year, in his sophomore season, Warren posted 10 receptions for 123 yards, and three touchdowns. In his junior season, things started coming together for Warren, as he made 12 starts and appeared in 13 games. He racked up 34 receptions, 422 yards, and seven touchdowns, and earned Third-team All-Big Ten honors from the coaches. In his fifth and final season with Penn State, Warren had a breakout season and he played in 16 games and recorded a whopping 104 receptions, 1233 yards, and 8 touchdowns.

For his phenomenal season in 2024, Warren won the John Mackey award, and finished seventh in Heisman Trophy voting. He finished his college career first amongst Penn State’s TE in terms of total touchdowns, receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and 100-yard games. Warren is one of the most outstanding tight end prospects in this year’s draft class, and many mock drafts have him in their top 10.

Warren’s hand size is 9 1/2’’. While his hand size is sufficient, it is not exceptional with many prospects having 10 inches or larger hands.
