Tottenham Champions League Opponents for 2025-26 Season: Who Are They Playing, Where and When?

Abhinav Goel

Tottenham Hotspur are back in the Champions League for the 2025-26 season after sealing Europa League glory last May. Notably, Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the final courtesy of Brennan Johnson’s first-half goal. That triumph ensured Spurs’ return to Europe’s top competition.

Under new boss Thomas Frank, the North London side will embark on their first campaign in UEFA’s revamped Champions League. The Champions League 2025-26 draw has paired Spurs with some of Europe’s biggest names, including an immediate rematch with champions Paris Saint-Germain, who defeated them in the UEFA Super Cup earlier this month. Alongside PSG, Tottenham will face a challenging lineup of opponents from across Europe.

Borussia Dortmund (Home) – A tough match with German giants Borussia Dortmund promises fireworks, with both sides boasting young attacking talent.

Paris Saint-Germain (Away) – A blockbuster clash at the Parc des Princes against the defending champions and Luis Enrique’s star-studded squad.

Villarreal (Home) – Spurs will welcome the Yellow Submarine, who are always dangerous on the European stage. This will be the first time Spurs will face Villarreal in competitive action.
