LeBron James continues to check off milestones.
The Los Angeles Lakers may have been inconsistent this season, but LeBron James has consistently been reaching new milestones. The 39-year-old marked yet another milestone during the Lakers’ thrilling 105-104 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
During the game LeBron reached a historic milestone, becoming only the second player in NBA history to make 15,000 career field goals.
The Lakers’ legend finished the game with 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 14 assists and made 12 of his 28 field goal attempts.

NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar tops the list with 15,837 field goals made over his illustrious 20-year career. Following James on the all-time list are Karl Malone (13,528), the late Wilt Chamberlain (12,681), and Michael Jordan (12,192).

While LeBron delivered a steady performance in the Lakers’ win, his struggles with three-point shooting continued.
The veteran forward, who is just one 3-point away from surpassing Kyle Korver for the 7th most threes in NBA history, failed to make a single three in his nine attempts against Jazz. This slump extends James’ three-pointer struggles, as he has now missed 20 straight baskets from beyond the arc over his last four games – the longest drought of his career.
