Tom Brady and Justin Gaethje Shine at Inaugural Fanatics Games

The Fanatics Games which was a dazzling highlight of Fanatics Fest NYC 2025, electrified the Javits Center in New York from June 20-22. This exciting competition united 100 participants, including 50 elite athletes and celebrities like Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, James Harden, alongside 50 passionate selected through video submissions showcasing their athletic skills. The Games features eight diverse challenges, from quarterback accuracy, basketball shooting, to soccer goal-scoring, baseball pitching, UFC striking, golf closest-to-the-pin, a theatrical WWE superstar entrance, and a washer-dryer puck shooting. With two million in prizes, including a $1 million grand prize, a Ferrari 296 GTB, and a very rare LeBron James trading card, the event blended raw competition with entertainment, drawing nearly 100k spectators to witness the clash of stars and fans battling to be on top of the leaderboard.

Fanatics Fest offered memorabilia, live podcasts, and celebrity panels, creating a very immersive experience for both fans and players, something we barely see happen. The Fanatics Games allowed fans to compete shoulder-to-shoulder with their icons in a decathlon style event. It event had some viral moments like Brady’s playful enterence like a WWE superstar, and the Games is starting to look like the new pinnacle for Sports entertainment, celebrating professional and amateur talent.

NFL’s GOAT Tom Brady Claims Top Prize

Tom Brady, widely known as the greatest quarterback of all time with seven super bowl rings, showed that his competitive edge despite his age, still endures post-retirement. At the fanatics game, Brady amassed 399.1 points to secure first place and the $1 million cash price. His standout performance where he walks in with a certain jazz (like a WWE superstar), humorously spat on a New York Jets jersey, and torn Eli Manning’s jersey, showcased his charisma and all the fans thoroughly enjoyed the theatrics that he put on.

True to form, Brady donated $5,000 to each of the 50 fan competitors and gave the remaining prize money to charity. He also outscored his rivals like Eli Manning, on his way to victory. While Brady may have retired from the NFL, he is still as competitive as they come.

UFC Star Justin Gaethje Speeds to Second

UFC lightweight sensation, Justin Gaethje, known for his spectacular display of skilled fighting inside the Octagon, clinched second place with 345.5 points, earning a 2025 Ferrari 296 GTB worth around $500,000. The 36-year-old Arizona native, who is a former NCAA Division I wrestler, a former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion, and former UFC BMF Champion, is one of the most thrilling fighters to watch, who dominated challenges like the UFC striking contest.
