The Minnesota Timberwolves are all set to host their Western Conference rivals, the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday for the semi-finals. Anthony Edwards wanted the Timberwolves vs. Warriors matchup in the playoffs, and he has now gotten it.

The Timberwolves had a fine first round series against the Los Angeles Lakers, where they defeated the favorites by 4-1. The Lakers lacked the firepower which the Anthony Edwards led side had. It became more of an uneven matchup, with the Lakers having poor defense.
