Minnesota Timberwolves vs Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineup: Latest Update on Luka Doncic, LeBron James, and Gabe Vincent

Eric Divakaran

The Minnesota Timberwolves (2-2) host the Los Angeles Lakers (2-2) in a high-stakes Western Conference clash at Target Center on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, tipping off at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. With Anthony Edwards sidelined by a hamstring injury, Julius Randle steps up as Minnesota’s offensive engine, averaging 25.0 points through four games, while Rudy Gobert anchors the paint with elite rim protection (1.2 blocks per game). The Timberwolves, shooting 36.1 percent from downtown, look to rebound after a 114-127 loss to the Denver Nuggets, by exploiting home-court energy and forcing turnovers.

The Lakers, decimated by injuries to LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and others, will lean on Austin Reaves and DeAndre Ayton scoring punch. While Rui Hachimura adds their frontcourt some versatility, L.A’s rebounding woes could hurt against Minnesota’s length. Expect a gritty battle focused on paint control and transition pace.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
