Several teams, including the Dallas Mavericks are eyeing to acquire Kevin Durant before the trade deadline.
The NBA world is still recovering from Luka Doncic’s shocking trade to the Los Angeles Lakers and now reports have surfaced that Dallas Mavericks are reportedly going after Kevin Durant.
According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, the Mavericks are not done in the trading window and is eyeing another star player to add alongside Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis.
The reports also claimed that Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are also actively working on to get Durant.
Amid the trade rumours, the Phoenix Suns have listed Kevin Durant as doubtful on their injury report for Wednesday’s road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 36-year-old, who is averaging 26.9 points this season, was seen walking gingerly after the Suns’ overtime loss to Portland on Saturday.

Despite the injury concern, Durant is closing in on a major career milestone. He is just 26 points away from reaching 30,000 career points, which would make him only the eighth player in NBA history to achieve that feat.
As for the Thunder, they are dealing with several injuries. Jalen Williams (wrist) is listed as questionable, while Cason Wallace (shoulder), Nikola Topic (ACL), Chet Holmgren (hip), and Ajay Mitchell (toe) are all out for tonight’s game.
