Tank Dell Injury Update: Texans Wideout suffers second season ending injury in 2 seasons, carted off the field to a local hospital

A spectacular pass from C.J. Stroud caught by Tank Dell for a 30-yard touchdown soon turned into horror for the Texans. Tank Dell, while collecting the touchdown pass, got caught in friendly fire in the end zone and collided with fellow Texans wideout Jared Wayne.

As per live updates, Dell’s leg was stabilized in a vacuum splint, something often used for severe injuries. There is a possibility that Dell might have multiple torn ligaments, especially ACL/MCL, which indicates that his 2024 season is over.

Seen clutching his knee immediately upon impact, Dell was visibly in pain as the medics attended to him. CJ Stroud and other fellow teammates of Dell looked severely concerned, with Stroud visibly in tears as he cried inconsolably.

This was Dell’s second game of the 2024 NFL season after his first outing against the New York Jets in week 9.

Tank Dell Injury History: Tank Dell suffered a fractured fibula last season

Tank Dell has suffered 2 injuries in 2 years, unfortunately both of them due to friendly fire! Last season, Dell suffered a fractured fibula in week 13 of the 2023 NFL season against the Denver Broncos. He had to undergo surgery for the same and was ruled out for the season.
