Steph Curry has had one of the most fascinating careers in pro basketball. Among current players, few have transformed the game the way he has with his shooting and influence.

However, like every good thing that comes to an end, Steph Curry’s retirement is also looming ahead. Curry at 37 is still one of the brightest players in the league, but his fitness levels have sharply dropped.

Last season was quite hard for the Baby-Faced Assassin as he battled through multiple spells off the court. Steph Curry also missed the crucial Western Conference semifinals clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to his lingering injuries.

With his fitness being murky, rumors around Curry’s retirement have only grown stronger. However, the world’s best point guard recently revealed that he is nowhere close to retirement. In an interview with Complex, Curry suggested that fans can “for sure” expect him to play for some more years.

Nothing would excite NBA fans more than witnessing Steph Curry lift his fifth ring before he finally retires. Steph Curry is already in the list of the GOATs. But another ring would try to immortalize his legacy right at the top. But Curry is someone who is looking to enjoy his last phase of the game rather than actively going behind that 5th.

Golden State or Charlotte for Finale

Steph Curry has changed the Golden State Warriors for good. Little doubt remains around where exactly he would retire. The Warriors is where Curry feels homely and the Bay Area is going to be the place to witness the greatness of hanging his boots.

However, recent rumors have suggested that the four time NBA champion might also look to end it where he began his hoop journey. The Charlotte Hornets have emerged as a possible destination that could tempt Curry away from the Bay Area.

The Threezus has a close connection with Charlotte, given that is where he mostly spent his childhood and learned basketball. Only time will reveal whether the Warriors legend ends his NBA journey in the Bay Area or somewhere else.
