The Los Angeles Sparks stopped the winning chariot of the Indiana Fever after the visitors won five in a row. The Sparks vs. Fever game was played at the Crypto.com arena in LA on Tuesday.

The Fever started strong and outscored the Sparks by 27-26 in the opening quarter of the game. This awakened the sleeping Sparks’ offense, who stormed the second quarter with some top performances.

They took a double-digit lead thanks to a 28-16 score. They held firm in the second half, maintaining control with focused defense and efficiency. It was too late for the Indiana Fever to pull off something. Their late resurgence couldn’t help them out.

The Los Angeles Sparks beat the Indiana Fever 100-91, ending their impressive five-game winning streak. Kelsey Plum recorded a double-double with 25 points, and 11 assists. Rickea Jackson scored 25 while Cameron Brink recorded zero points.

For the Fever, Kelsey Mitchell scored 34 points, Natasha Howard 17, and Aaliyah Boston scored 15. Sophie Cunningham, who drew major attention following the Sparks vs. Fever clash, contributed eight points in the defeat.

A green dildo was thrown at Sophie Cunningham during the second quarter. It occurred when Kelsey Plum completed a free throw attempt. The sex toy hit Cunningham, and instantly the whistle was blown by the officials.

The Indiana Fever guard looked unfazed by the moment and was smiling, joking about the incident. She took it lightly while the Sparks’ bench was fuming. The LAPD officials quickly moved to the upper stands to identify the thrower.

This is the third time in just a few days that a green dildo has been hurled onto the court. First it happened in Atlanta, then Chicago, and now in LA. Interestingly, Cunningham had previously joked about the dildo-throwing trend, tweeting last week.
