Southampton will be demanding around £100 million for their 19-year-old prodigy Tyler Dibling. As per the latest reports, this valuation has left the multiple Premier League clubs frustrated, given his experience in the top-flight.
The attacking midfielder will be one of the hottest prospects this summer’s transfer window given the season he’s having. Southampton, who are currently last on the table, will look to sell Dibling at the end of the season should they get relegated.
Many clubs like Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with Dibling this season. Pep Guardiola and his scouts are also said to have a special interest in Dibling as their top priority.

It's further added that Southampton believe Dibling is one of the best youngsters in English football. pic.twitter.com/pxr6vdc9nw
Having a clinical profile, Dibling is claimed to be one of the best English youngsters right now. Managing only two wins in their 29 games, Manager Ivan Jurić has struggled to survive all season. On the contrary, the Exeter-born Dibling has continued to impress despite his club’s struggle. Starting 17 games and appearing in 25, Dibling has proved he can compete with high-level players at such a young age.
Dibling has also been receiving high praise from pundits and analysts for his performances. Talking about the 19-year-old, Danny Murphy spoke on the BBC Match of the Day saying:
“Dibling has the technical ability and intelligence to be a special player. His close control and decision-making under pressure remind me of some of the best young midfielders we’ve seen emerge in recent years.”
Dibling’s talents have also sparked interest from all over Europe as clubs like RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich have also asked for the midfielder. Given the £100 million tag by Southampton, the race to sign the midfielder will be quite of negotiations this summer.
Southampton who trail by 16 points to 17th-placed Wolves are like a sinking ship this season. With Dibling proving himself to be for the greater leagues, the Saints might bid farewell to their academy graduate, Dibling, at a significant price.
