Liberty overpower shorthanded Wings with balanced scoring display
The New York Liberty have continued their winning run after a brilliant performance against the Dallas Wings on Friday. Wings are currently in a free fall and with Paige Bueckers absent, they suffered another brutal defeat.
Liberty opened the game with authority, outscoring their opponents 28-15 in a dominant first-quarter performance. The Wings were caught again without enough firepower in the start. They were slow to find rhythm, and Liberty capitalized on the sluggish start to build their early advantage.
In the second quarter, the home side did crawl back with a better performance, but New York still outdid them with 22-19. They were comfortable with a massive lead going into the second half of the Wings vs. Liberty game.
