According to the new reports from CaughtOffside, Inter Miami are the latest club to show a strong interest in signing the Egyptian winger. However, Miami have to face tough competition with Saudi Pro League clubs, who offered a massive contract to Salah last year, but Liverpool refused.
Mo Salah’s contract will expire next summer, and Liverpool haven’t made any progress on a contract extension. If Salah doesn’t sign an extension to his current contract, he will be a free agent next summer. Inter Miami can push for the 32-year-old winger in the middle of the MLS season.
Liverpool wanted to extend Salah’s contract, but the Egypt international looks unhappy with the offer. The Former Roma man has recently come out publicly to say he’s disappointed by the lack of an offer from the Premier League club. He said: “Disappointed? Yes, I’m disappointed. Of course I’m disappointed with the situation. I have not seen any sort of proposal from Liverpool so far”.
“You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this… but there’s no proposal to extend now”. “In the end, it is not in my hands…”
Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on signing Mo Salah, and Al Ittihad are the frontrunners. Clubs like Al Nassr, Al Hilal and Al Ahli are also in the race to crack the deal. Apart from MLS and Saudi clubs, top European clubs are also following the progress of Salah. As per the sources, Barcelona, PSG, Juventus and Inter Milan are ready to sign the Premier League star.
