Real Madrid has had a twisting and turning season following a Trophyless campaign. After their exit from the Champions League and the Copa del Rey loss in the finals, Carlo Ancelotti has been heavily speculated to part ways with the Spanish capital.

Amid the restructuring, the pattern of seeing some players has grown common in modern football. With so many attacking options upfront and defensive struggles, the Los Blancos are in talks of bidding farewell to Rodrygo Goes this summer.

The Brazilian has found it tough to be in the starting lineup in the 2024/25 campaign. Following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and the injury situation, one could blame it on the tactical shifting.

Rodrygo has started 22 of the 34 games for Real Madrid in La Liga this season, compared to his 28 starts in the previous season. Scoring six goals in La Liga with four games to go, it could be safe to say that Rodrygo has shadowed a little under the arrivals.

Rodrygo is considering leaving Real Madrid because of his diminished role, as per several reports. With heavy clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal linked to the winger, his talents can hardly be second-guessed.

Real Madrid has struggled on the defensive front throughout the season. With players like Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, and Dani Carvajal being out majority of the months, they have been highly active in the recruiting market over the summer.
