Real Madrid to Receive a Massive €350m Bid for Vinicius Jr from Saudi Arabia?

The Brazilian Star Faces an Uncertain Future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Uncertainty over the Brazilian’s future at Real Madrid has been looking. In the midst of it, Saudi Pro League giants are reportedly preparing a world-record €350 million (£302m) bid for Vinicius Junior. According to talkSPORT, senior Saudi officials have been in contact with Vinicius’ camp for over a year.

Rumours about the big-money move has been circulating since the winter transfer window this year. It seems the Saudi clubs are patiently waiting for the right moment to make their move. The 25-year-old winger has publicly stated his desire to remain at the Bernabeu. However, negotiations over a new contract have yet to be finalized.

Vinicius’ current deal runs until 2027, but there has been a lack of progress on an extension. This has encouraged Saudi clubs like Al Ahli and Al Nassr to pursue the Brazilian star aggressively. The proposed offer includes a staggering five-year package worth nearly €1 billion (£864m), rivaling Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract at Al Nassr.

Tension Between Vinicius Jr and Madrid?

Vinicius still remains a key figure at Madrid. Even so, several reports from the media suggest that the relationship between the player and club has not been as smooth as expected. Club president Florentino Perez is said to be growing impatient with the winger’s demands.

A source told The Transfers Podcast, “Vinicius Junior’s lack of dedication and focus on what really matters, namely football, is starting to take its toll.” After a stellar 2023-24 season, where Vinicius helped Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League, expectations were sky-high.

However, his performances dipped severely in the 2024-25 season. There were some flashes of brilliance, but they were certainly overshadowed by his inconsistent form throughout the season. He managed 18 goals and 11 assists in 37 appearances. However, he struggled in high-profile fixtures like El Clasico and the Club World Cup.

Real Madrid Considering a Galactico Rebuild?

According to Spanish reports, Real Madrid would consider selling Vinicius if a €300m bid arrived. They believe the funds could spark a new Galactico era. Names like Erling Haaland are now being linked as potential replacements. The prospect of such a financial windfall is hard to ignore.

For now, neither Vinicius nor Madrid appear to be in any rush to decide. Saudi Arabian clubs, however, remain determined to secure the Brazilian’s signature, whether this summer or before his contract expires in 2027. The coming months could prove decisive to see one of the biggest big-money moves come to fruition.
