The Ravens will look to win their 5th straight and go above .500 for the first time this season in Week 12
It’s a lopsided contest on paper this Sunday as the Baltimore Ravens host the New York Jets in the early afternoon window. The Ravens are coming into the game with a 5-5 record, but recent form suggests they are a much better team now. The Jets, meanwhile, are nearly out of the playoff race with a 2-8 record.
Game Details:
| Recommended Bets | FanDuel | BetMGM |
|---|---|---|
| Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns | -180 | -159 |
| Derrick Henry Over 17.5 Rush Attempts | -130 | -114 |
| Breece Hall 60+ Rushing Yards | -166 | -155 |
Lamar Jackson missed multiple games in the 2025-26 NFL season, but that hasn’t stopped him from being effective in the end zone. Jackson has 15 passing touchdowns in his 7 games. Additionally, with the Jets’ secondary no longer possessing Sauce Gardner, the Ravens could have an easier time through the air.
Derrick Henry may not be having as good a season as he did last year, but that doesn’t mean he is having a down year. Henry is still at the top of his game and is getting plenty of carries as part of the Ravens’ offense. In fact, King Henry has more than 17 carries for 6 games in a row.
Jets’ running back Breece Hall has rushed for over 50 yards in each of his last 3 games. He is one of the top running backs in the game, but the Ravens run defense is slightly better than their pass defense. Moreover, the Jets could end up chasing this game and may have to throw the ball much more as the game progresses.

On paper, this is a complete mismatch, even though the records do not show a vast difference. Baltimore is on a 4-game win streak and has clawed its way back to 5-5 after starting 1-4. The defense has improved, while Lamar Jackson is back once again to lead the offense.
As for the Jets, they are nearly out of the playoffs, and after having traded Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner on trade deadline day, New York seems to be preparing for next season.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens to win.

After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
