Players With Most 60-Point Games in NBA History

Let's take a look at the top five players with most 60+ point performances.

The Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic once again showed why he is simply one of the best players to have played in the NBA. On April 1, 2025. the three-time NBA MVP came up with a career-high performance during the Nuggets’ 140-139 two-overtime loss to the Timberwolves. 

As he finished with 61 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds, he became the latest addition to the 60-point club. Jokic surpassed De’Aaron Fox’s 60-point game to record the season high in 2024-25. 

Looking back at the history of the league, there are now 37 players who have recorded 60-point games. However, there are only ten players who have come up with multiple 60-point games so far. Having said that, let’s have a look at the top five players who sit on the top spots in the list.

James Harden- 4

The Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden ties with Michael Jordan for the fourth-highest 60+ point games, with four. He had his first 60 point game on January 30, 2018, during the Houston Rockets’ 114-107 win over the Orlando Magic. He recorded 60 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in the game.

Michael Jordan- 4

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan sits on the fourth spot on the list with four 60+ point games. The first time Jordan recorded a 60+ point game was on March 4, 1987, during the Bulls’ 125-120 win over the Houston Rockets. He finished the game with 61 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Jordan, who retired from the NBA in 2003, had his last 60+ point game in 1993, when the Bulls suffered a 128-124 overtime loss to the Magic. He scored 64 points, six rebounds and one assist in the game.

Damian Lillard- 5

The Milwaukee Bucks star guard Damian Lillard has five 60+ point games, the third highest in the NBA, all with the Portland Trail Blazers. He recorded his first game with such records on November 8, 2019, during the 119-115 loss against the Brooklyn Nets. The last time he crossed the figure was on February 26, 2023, when posted a staggering 71 points during the Trail Blazers’ 131-114 loss against the Houston Rockets. 

Kobe Bryant- 6

The Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant comes second on the list with a total of six 60+ point games. He recorded his first 60+ point game on December 20, 2005 during the Lakers’ 112-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The Black Mamba finished his NBA career in style by posting 60 points in his final game during the Lakers’ 101-96 win over the Utah Jazz. 

Wilt Chamberlain- 32

Legendary Wilt Chamberlain was known as a scoring machine for a reason. Having played 14 seasons in the NBA, Chamberlain tops the list of most games with 60 or more points with a whopping 32 times. No other player has even come close to him. Chamberlain’s first 60+ point performance came on March 9, 1961, during the Philadelphia Warriors’ 135-126 win over the New York Knicks. He finished the game with 67 points, 31 rebounds and one assist. He was 21-11 in the 32 games he recorded with 60 or more points.
