Jürgen Klopp Reacts To The Liverpool PL Title Win

Former Liverpool Manager Jürgen Klopp who gave the club their first Premier League title in 2019 has expressed his joy over Slot’s success. Klopp who managed Liverpool for nearly a decade achieved some significant milestones.

Reacting to Liverpool’s Premier League triumph, Klopp hinted that he might be at the Liverpool parade. Talking about the Reds’ season, Klopp told TNT Sports:

“Yes, the plan is to be in Liverpool but not on the bus, I will be there with the people I saw on the bus. That’s the idea, to be honest, but we will see.”

Slot who has been in contact with Klopp all season was quick to give his appreciation to the German manager. Talking about how the duo has coordinated and Klopp’s legacy, Slot in his post-game interview said:

“It feels great. I don’t think I want to say a lot. The only thing now is to send my appreciation to Jurgen Klopp,” Slot told LFCTV.

In a heartfelt reflection, Slot expressed near certainty that a message from Jurgen awaited on his phone, highlighting their frequent and meaningful communication throughout the season. Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, he praised Jurgen’s character, as he continued:

“I am 99.9% sure that if I pick up my phone there will be a message from Jurgen,” he told BBC Match of the Day.

“So many moments in the season the two of us have had contact. I think he showed last season what a wonderful human being he is by introducing me.

“But what mattered most is the team he left behind that was able to win the trophy.”

When is the Liverpool Premier League Parade?

Liverpool fans can gather on the streets to witness the team’s triumphant parade as they proudly display the trophy throughout the city. Although the exact details of the event are still unknown, it is anticipated to take place on Monday, May 26, the day following the final game of the season and a public holiday in the United Kingdom.

Liverpool will lift the trophy on their final home game of the season as per the Premier League traditions. It will be played against Brighton on May 25. Captain Virgil Van Dijk will lift the Premier League title for the second time with the club.
