The Philadelphia Eagles had some of the most dominant performances in the Super Bowl, for a team that was looked at as the underdogs. The final score of the Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs was 40-22, however, this is a classic example of how the scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story. Coming into the Super Bowl, Chiefs were looking forward to a three-peat, something which has never been done before in the NFL. The Chiefs cruised through the regular season, and the AFC, and were the favorites to win-it-all again last season. Meanwhile the Eagles quietly were having a terrific season, but not many favored them to get a win against Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs.
The Eagles absolutely humiliated the Chiefs, and head coach Andy Reid had no answers for what was thrown at his team. The Eagles shut out the Chiefs until late in the third quarter, and Patrick Mahomes, who is looked at arguably the best quarterback currently, had one of his worst performances of his career. On the other side, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, had a game of games for himself, guiding the Eagles to their only second championship in their franchise history. Hurts became one of the few quarterbacks to beat Mahomes in the playoffs, something which the likes of Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, have not done so far.

Now that the 2025 NFL Draft is over, the Philadelphia Eagles are set to visit the White House on Monday, after beating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
The Eagles were one of the most dominating Super Bowl teams we’ve seen in the recent years, and they will President Donald Trump to celebrate their victory over the Chiefs, as confirmed by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt in early march. This announcement has now dispelled rumors that the Eagles might decline the invitation, a concern rooted in their absence from the White House after their Super Bowl LII win in 2018.
Back then, President Trump claimed that he had canceled the visit due to players’ “disrespectful” anthem protests. However, after their recent Super Bowl win, the Eagles expressed a lot of enthusiasm for the honor of meeting President Trump.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
