Leading the pack is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, whose popularity remains unmatched. Houston Texans’ second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud follows in second place, trailed by Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Chicago Bears rookie Caleb Williams, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Among non-quarterbacks, Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson ranks highest at No. 6, with his teammate, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, right behind him at No. 7.
As explained by the NFLPA, the rankings reflect sales from a wide range of merchandise, including “adult and youth jerseys, T-shirts, and hoodies, to bobbleheads, plush toys, socks, and drinkware, pet products, and more,” reported by over 80 NFLPA licensees.

While Mahomes might not be having his most dominant statistical season — with 2,673 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 11 games — his star power is undeniable. As the reigning back-to-back champion, his merchandise sales remain sky-high, and the trend is expected to continue. Last season, Mahomes finished No. 3 in sales, proving his enduring popularity.
Two defensive players managed to crack the top 10: Detroit Lions’ Aidan Hutchinson and Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons. Here’s the complete top 10 list:
One interesting inclusion is Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, landing at No. 24 on the list, ahead of players like Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
Beyond the overall list, the NFLPA provided deeper insights into sales across specific categories.

I write about sports because, well, it brings in the big bucks! I’m not some lifelong analyst or stats guru, truth being told, you’ve probably never heard of me!—I just know how to research, write, and make things sound good. That’s the job!
Got into sports media the same way most people do: by (fortunate) accident. Started with SEO writing, took on a few sports gigs, and now here we are! I cover games, trades, player drama—whatever needs words.
Favorite part? The chaos. One day it’s a blockbuster trade, the next it’s a goat running onto the field. Never boring.
Message to readers: If you want deep analysis, there are people for that. If you want sharp, no-BS writing that actually makes sense, stick around.
