| Recommended Bets | FanDuel | BetMGM |
|---|---|---|
| Jordan Love 2+ Passing TD | -180 | -186 |
| Josh Jacobs Anytime TD | -240 | -235 |
| Total Points Under 44.5 | -118 | -115 |
The biggest advantage for the Packers heading into this week is that they are well-rested and should come out with plenty of energy. Jordan Love has thrown 8 touchdowns in just 4 games and the Bengals’ defense doesn’t seem like it can stop him.
Josh Jacobs has 4 rushing touchdowns from 4 games. He will be raring to go after a good week off. Additionally, Cincinnati’s defense is one of the team’s weaknesses, something that Jacobs can exploit.
The under 44.5 points seems like a good bet, considering how the Bengals’ offense has been struggling to put points on the board after Joe Burrow went down. Moreover, there will be a change under center with Joe Flacco taking over in a new system against a solid Packers’ defense.
The Bengals started this season with 2 wins from 2 games. But Joe Burrow went down in week 2 with a turf toe injury, and since then, it’s been all downhill. Jake Browning wasn’t able to steer the ship, and now in comes Joe Flacco to do his best.
The problem is, the Bengals can change their quarterbacks, but that offensive line is horrendous. Plus, the fact that Ja’Marr Chase has more tackles (5) than receiving touchdowns (3) this season is just ridiculous.
Green Bay, on the other hand, is well rested after its bye week. The Packers should be coming into this game with fresh energy after their tie against the Cowboys in week 4. With the exception of that Dallas game in which the defense allowed 40 points, Green Bay has done a superb job on that side of the ball.
Prediction: Green Bay Packers to win.
