Oliver Bearman was born on May 8, 2005 and is 20 years old as of July 2025. He found himself earning a lot of fame after his debut with Scuderia Ferrari in 2024 during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. During a recent interview Bearman found himself recalling his past experience at the British Grand Prix. The young Briton was far away from realising his Formula 1 dream but he still got featured publicly, albeit in a different way.
The 2015 British Grand Prix was a hard fought race between various teams. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg ended up taking the lead of the race in the later stage from the Williams cars. The race was affected by rain in the final laps allowing Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel to clinch a podium finish. As the trio appeared on the podium during the post-race celebrations, a faint voice could be heard. A child was screaming Ferrari as Sebastian Vettel stepped on to the podium.
During his interview, Oliver Bearman reveals that the voice screaming Ferrari was his. Bearman says that he was supporting during the race and ended up getting his voice broadcasted. Ollie Bearman also reveals that he is a fan of Sebastian Vettel and has been following him while continuing his journey into motorsports.

Sebastian Vettel took his leave from Formula 1 in 2023, long before Bearman could make his debut. Ollie got the chance to meet his idol during one of the weekends. Vettel spent his time talking to the rookies. Oliver Bearman has been an impressive rookie for Haas F1 in the current season. If he keeps up his performance, he might end up going forward towards much better Formula 1 teams. Bearman will have to focus on beating his teammate once again and claiming Q3 with points for the British Grand Prix.
nhl I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in NHL, Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university’s Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
Message to Readers: I promise you one day you’ll see me managing operations on track with a Formula 1 team ; )
