Nuggets vs. Thunder Preview – Will Jokic Bounce Back After Blowout Loss As Series Returns to Denver All Square

The OKC Thunder finally came to life in the second game after the Denver Nuggets upset them in the first one. Now, the Nuggets vs. Thunder semi-finals series moves to Denver, Colorado for the next two games. Nikola Jokic and co. have the perfect chance to avenge last game’s blowout.

Fans and analysts alike wrote off the Denver Nuggets from the semi-finals’ series. However, the visitors put on a display that shook the Paycom Center and the Oklahoma City fans. A grateful performance from Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. Gordon’s game winner brought hope to the Nuggets’ fans.

However, the second game performance was nowhere near the level needed for the semis. The game changing trio of Nuggets struggled to get past 20 points. While Jokic’s defense also fell flat against Oklahoma City Thunder’s young guns. The result was a blowout performance in the Nuggets vs. Thunder game.

OKC Thunder Preview

The OKC Thunder learned from their game one defeat and played to win throughout the course rather than being defensive after a lead. The Denver Nuggets couldn’t match the energy and athleticism of the OKC Thunder, which resulted in a blowout 149-106 win for the home team. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the top scorer in the Nuggets vs. Thunder game 2 with 34 points.
