Novak Djokovic vs. Miomir Kecmanovic Head-to-Head Record, Prediction and Betting Odds for Wimbledon 2025 Round-3

Sankalp Harikrishnan

All-Serbian clash in the Wimbledon Round of 32.

Seven-time champion Novak Djokovic resumes his bid for a record shattering 25th Grand Slam trophy at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships on Saturday. The Serbian icon takes on national compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic in the Round of 32, with the winner going on to face Alex de Minaur or August Holmgren in the pre-quarterfinals. Djokovic, who is defending runner-up points at SW19, will be determined to go one step further this year.

After a long wait for an elusive 100th career championship, Novak Djokovic secured the magnificent accolade at the 2025 Geneva Open. Apart from this however, the former World No. 1 has faced a subpar season. After retiring from his semifinal at the Australian Open vs Zverev, Djokovic lost four of his next five opening round contests at tour-level competitions. He reached the final in Miami, won the title in Geneva, and lost to Sinner in the last four at the French Open before heading straight to Wimbledon.

Unlike his opponent who has a significantly superior 23-8 record in 2025, Miomir Kecmanovic has a 50% strike rate on tour. The World No. 49 will look to enter his maiden Round of 16 at the Wimbledon Championships with a win on Saturday. In the build-up to the grass court major, Kecmanovic lost two opening round matches in Halle and Eastbourne. His best performances of the season are a final four finish in Adelaide, and a title charge at Delray Beach.

Novak Djokovic vs Miomir Kecmanovic Head to Head Record

Novak Djokovic leads the head-to-head against Miomir Kecmanovic by 3-0. He has dropped just one set in three matches against the fellow Serbian.

The rivalry between Djokovic and Kecmanovic took shape in 2021, and their most recent meeting was in 2022. In fact, they will have played twice in Belgrade and twice at Wimbledon after Saturday’s marquee contest. In the first ever Djokovic-Kecmanovic clash, the former eased into the semifinal. A year later, he came back after dropping the opener to emerge victorious. Here is a full list of their results:

Novak Djokovic vs Miomir Kecmanovic Wimbledon 2025 Prediction

Kecmanovic has already played nine out of a possible ten sets across two matches so far. While the Serbian has phenomenal endurance, his legs are bound to feel the pressure and fatigue. Djokovic will mix things up with net approaches as well as drop shots, keeping Kecmanovic on his toes at all times. There will be numerous backhand to backhand exchanges on Saturday. Unfortunately, Kecmanovic lacks the oomph in his game on paper to overpower the Great Wall.

Prediction: Novak Djokovic in four sets.
