Novak Djokovic Joins Roger Federer to Achieve Massive Centurion Grand Slam Record at Wimbledon 2025

Djokovic will face Alex de Minaur in the Wimbledon QFs.

On Saturday, World No. 6 Novak Djokovic beat countryman Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3 6-0 6-4 to reach yet another Wimbledon Round of 16. In the process, the Serbian earned himself an impeccable 100th career win at the Championships – and joined some elite company. Djokovic is now just the second man, after Roger Federer, to strike the centurion mark at two different Grand Slam events.

Djokovic has reiterated that capturing the SW19 crown remains his childhood dream. Despite winning the trophy on seven different occasions, his ritual of chewing a piece of grass after winning the title shows what the tournament means to him. With a win over Kecmanovic, ‘Nole’ reached 100 victories at All England Club – only Federer has more Gentlemen’s Singles wins at the event (105).

Djokovic and Federer Stand Tall Amongst Wimbledon Royalty

Novak Djokovic is bidding for an insane 8th title at the Wimbledon Championships, which will equal the record held by the Swiss maestro at the moment. If the 38-year-old can beat the likes of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz to the Challenge Cup, he will become the oldest man to win a men’s singles Grand Slam title in the Open Era. Djokovic and Federer also share an elite dual major record.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion won his 100th match at Roland Garros last month, before losing to Jannik Sinner two matches later. He is also on 99 wins at the Australian Open – where he has won a record 10 titles. Seeded 6th at Wimbledon this year, pundits have declared this as Djokovic’s best shot at capturing major No. 25. He has won 42 out of his last 44 matches in South West London.

Meanwhile, 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer won 105 matches at Wimbledon and 102 matches at the Australian Open.
