As the dream of winning a record-shattering 25th Grand Slam trophy gets more real with every passing win, Novak Djokovic is set for a grand show-down against Carlos Alcaraz in the 2025 US Open semifinal. The Serbian icon has performed exceedingly well at Flushing Meadows over the past ten days, and is ready for his toughest test yet. The ongoing season marks a very special achievement for the reigning Olympic gold medalist – he captured his 100th title in Geneva. Yet, attaining the quarter of a century mark at the majors seems like the crowning glory for Djokovic.

The journey to the US Open semifinal has been a tricky terrain for Novak Djokovic. After defeating two Americans in Learner Tien and Zachary Svajda in his opening encounters, the 38-year-old overcame Cameron Norrie, Jan-Lennard Struff and Taylor Fritz to enter the final four. With Alcaraz set to bring his fiery best on Friday, Djokovic will be heavily reliant on his team to carry him over the line. So who exactly is seated in Novak Djokovic’s box at the 2025 US Open? Coaching Team and Support Staff of Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is currently being coached by Dusan Vemic and Boris Bosnjakovic. After a brief stint with three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray, the Serb decided to make the switch.Vemic is a former professional tennis player from Serbia – he reached a solitary singles main draw at the majors, in the 2007 Roland Garros. However, Vemic reached No. 31 in the world in doubles. On the other hand, Bosnjakovic is also a former player who has worked with a plethora of Serbian tennis players in the past.

“Dusan Vemic, who is actually Cup captain [Billie Jean King Cup – Team Serbia] – he was part of my coaching team years ago with Marian – he’s here. So he’s going to be with me in Geneva and Roland Garros. And Boris Bosnjakovic, who is my assistant coach and analyst. They’re going to kind of share that role for the next couple of tournaments and then we’ll see,” Djokovic revealed ahead of the 2025 Geneva Open.

Some of the other noteworthy members of Djokovic’s support staff include physiotherapist Miljan Amanovic, manager Edoardo Artaldi and hitting partner Carlos Gomez-Herrera. The 38-year-old has repeatedly spoken about how the members in his box are more like family members rather than people who are part of his professional setup.

Family – Wife, Parents, Children

Novak Djokovic’s wife Jelena is a constant feature in his box. The couple got married back in 2014, and eventually welcomed two children together – Stefan and Tara. “She’s my rock – she is someone who has seen the worst and best sides of me. She has seen my evolution, she has challenged me on every level. We have grown together, we have two beautiful children, and we still keep growing and evolving,” revealed Djokovic in a recent podcast with Jay Shetty.

Speaking of Novak Djokovic’s children, Stefan and Tara have made more consistent appearances at their father’s matches over time. Stefan, currently 10-years-old, was born in October 2014. On the other hand, Tara celebrated her 8th birthday during Djokovic’s magnificent victory over Taylor Fritz in the US Open quarterfinals. Both his kids were present during his 2024 Paris Olympics triumph, as well as the recently concluded 2025 Wimbledon Championships.

Dijana and Srdjan Djokovic, who are the parents of Novak Djokovic, are also likely to be present on Arthur Ashe Stadium. While his father was a former professional skier, he met eventual wife Dijan at the Kopaonik ski resort. The couple runs several businesses together. “He and my mum had to go through a lot of difficulties – financially, emotionally, whichever way – for me to sit here. So I don’t forget about that, I actually carry it in my heart,” Djokovic mentioned in a past press conference.
