Davante Adams Anytime TD vs Carolina Panthers (-140)

Davante Adams is slated to make his return after missing the final few weeks of the regular season with a hamstring injury. Prior to his injury, Adams had already notched up 14 receiving touchdowns in as many games, developing a strong connection with quarterback Matthew Stafford. As a matter of fact, Adams was the top target in the end zone for Stafford when he was healthy.

Puka Nacua Anytime TD vs Carolina Panthers (-110)

As Stafford and Davante Adams connected frequently in the endzone, Nacua had few touchdown receptions in the early part of the season. However, ever since Adams got injured, Nacua stepped up and took on the role of the target man. He would finish the season on 10 receiving touchdowns, but 6 of them have come in his last 5 games.

Christian Watson Anytime TD vs Chicago Bears (+170)

Christian Watson missed plenty of games to start the season, only making his return to action at the end of October. But, since then, he has become the main target for Jordan Love and the Packers. Watson finished the regular season with 6 touchdown catches from just 10 games. Moreover, the Bears are a bottom-5 team when it comes to allowing passing touchdowns, having given up 32 this season.

Travis Etienne Jr. Anytime TD vs Buffalo Bills (-145)

Travis Etienne Jr. seems like a good bet to score a touchdown against the Bills during their Wild Card game on Sunday. Etienne has had a tremendous season as the primary back for the Jaguars and has found the end zone 7 times running the ball and 6 times as a receiver. His dual-threat ability will come in handy, especially against the Bills, who are tied for last place, giving away 24 rushing touchdowns.

Christian McCaffrey Anytime TD vs Philadelphia Eagles (-135)

The San Francisco 49ers will be going up against a tough Eagles defense, one that is the best passing defense in terms of touchdowns allowed, but has struggled to maintain the same level on the ground.

The Eagles have given up 20 rushing touchdowns this season, and on the opposite side is McCaffrey, known very well for his dual threat ability. The Niners’ back has a total of 17 touchdowns this season, 10 on the ground and 7 through the air, making him a strong candidate.

TreVeyon Henderson Anytime TD vs Los Angeles Chargers (+135)

The New England Patriots take on the Los Angeles Chargers in their Wild Card round matchup this week in Foxborough. Having established one of the better ground games in the league, the Patriots’ back TreVeyon Henderson looks to be a good bet for an anytime touchdown against the Chargers. Henderson has 9 rushing touchdowns so far this season, with four of them in the last 4 games.

First touchdown scorer predictions for NFL Wild Card Round

Here are our picks for the first touchdown scorer in the NFL Wild Card Round (Sourced from FanDuel).

Travis Etienne Jr. First TD vs Buffalo Bills (+480)

The main reason Travis Etienne seems like a good pick for the first touchdown is his ability as a dual-threat running back. He has been serviceable for the Jaguars both on the ground and through the air with a total of 13 touchdowns this season. Moreover, with the Bills’ defense allowing the most rushing touchdowns, look for Jacksonville to pound the ball along the ground near the goal line.

Christian McCaffrey First TD vs Philadelphia Eagles (+490)

Likewise, McCaffrey also seems like a good bet for the first touchdown due to his dual-threat capabilities. That has allowed him to score 17 total touchdowns this season. Moreover, the Eagles have been vulnerable in stopping the rushing touchdowns, so the 49ers could employ the run game as they get near the end zone.

What is an anytime touchdown bet?

An anytime touchdown bet is one of the most exciting bets in the NFL. Here, you can bet on any player from the game to score a touchdown at any point in time, including overtime. The bet is won if that said player physically has control of the ball in the end zone, irrespective of when the touchdown occurs on the field.

Do passing TDs count for QB anytime TD bets?

No, passing touchdowns do not count as an anytime touchdown for quarterbacks since they are not the player in possession of the ball in the endzone. Quarterbacks can score anytime touchdowns if they have possession of the ball in the endzone.

Do overtime touchdowns count as anytime touchdowns?

Yes, anytime touchdown can occur at any point of the game, including overtime.

What is the difference between an anytime touchdown and a first touchdown bet?
