Roster concerns
For the Raiders, there are plenty of needs on both sides of the ball as they aim to improve their roster. First and foremost, the question of who will play under center in the upcoming season continues to linger. Geno Smith’s underwhelming performance from last season has cast a severe doubt on his future as the starter.
Sticking with the offense, the Raiders’ receiver room lacks quality. Tre Tucker finished as the team’s best receiver last season with just 696 yards and 57 receptions. The next best receiver was Jakobi Meyers with only 352 receiving yards, but he was traded mid-season to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Additionally, the Raiders will need to look for improvements to the offensive line, which was a disaster last season. Better quality and more depth are the need of the hour.
