Sam Hauser was born on December 10, 1997, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He grew up in a family with a strong basketball tradition; his father, Dave Hauser, was a college player at Wisconsin-Whitewater, and his younger brother, Joey Hauser, also became a professional player.
