Royce O’Neale
Royce Khalil O’Neale, born on June 5, 1993, in Killeen, Texas, USA, is an American professional basketball player who is 1.98 m tall and weighs 103 kg. He currently plays as a small forward for the Phoenix Suns. His collegiate career included stints with the Denver Pioneers (2011–2013) and Baylor Bears (2013–2015). After going undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, O’Neale began his professional career in Europe. He played for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (2015–2016) and Gran Canaria (2016–2017), where he won the Spanish Supercup in 2016. In 2017, he returned to the USA, joining the Utah Jazz, where he remained until 2022. During his time with the Jazz, he also played for the Salt Lake City Stars. From 2022 to 2024, Royce O’Neale played for the Brooklyn Nets. In 2024, he joined the Phoenix Suns. Throughout his NBA career, O’Neale has been noted for his versatility and defense. His regular season statistics include averages for points, rebounds, and assists. He is known by his nickname “Big Meal” and continues to be a valuable player in the league.
