Nolan Traore
Nolan Traoré was born on May 28, 2006, in Créteil, France, and grew up in Chennevières-sur-Marne, a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris. He is the younger brother of fellow basketball player Armel Traoré. Nolan began his basketball journey at the age of four with the COC Chennevières club, playing with them from 2010 to 2014. Traoré quickly rose through the ranks, eventually reaching professional basketball. He was selected by the Brooklyn Nets as the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft. On July 4, 2025, the Brooklyn Nets officially signed him to a multi-year contract. He plays as a point guard and shoots right-handed. His current team is the Brooklyn Nets, where he wears jersey number 88. Nolan Traoré’s career highlights include being named the FIBA Champions League Best Young Player in 2025 and participating in the Nike Hoop Summit in 2024. He also played with the French U-18 national team in 2024. Prior to joining the Nets, his career history includes playing for Centre Fédéral from 2021 to 2024 and Saint-Quentin from 2024 to 2025.
