Nikola Đurišić
Nikola Đurišić is a Serbian professional basketball player born on February 23, 2004, in Ghent, Belgium. He is 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in) tall and weighs 97 kg (214 lb), playing as a shooting guard. Đurišić began his professional career in 2020 with Mega Basket in Serbia. During the 2020-21 season, he was loaned to OKK Beograd. He continued to play for Mega Basket until 2024. In the 2024 NBA draft, he was selected as the 43rd overall pick in the second round by the Miami Heat. However, on draft night, he was immediately traded to the Atlanta Hawks in a three-team trade involving the Houston Rockets. For the 2024-2025 season, Đurišić is playing with the College Park Skyhawks, the G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks. He is expected to join the Atlanta Hawks for the 2025-present season. Throughout his early career, Đurišić has accumulated several awards, including being named the ABA League Top Prospect in 2023. He also won a Euroleague NGT championship in 2022 and was a two-time Junior ABA League champion in 2021 and 2022. In recognition of his performance, he was awarded the Euroleague NGT MVP in 2022 and was part of the Junior ABA League Ideal Five in 2021.
