Moussa Cissé was born on September 10, 2002, in Conakry, Guinea. He is a Guinean professional basketball player currently affiliated with the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on a two-way contract, also playing for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. Cissé’s collegiate basketball career is extensive, having played for several prominent programs. He began his collegiate journey with the Memphis Tigers in the 2020-2021 season, where he started all 28 games and averaged 6.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, blocking 46 shots (1.6 per game). His performance earned him the AAC Freshman of the Year and AAC All-Freshman Team awards in 2021. After his time at Memphis, he transferred to Oklahoma State, playing for the Cowboys from 2021 to 2023.
