Jonathan Mogbo

Jonathan Mogbo (born April 29, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Raptors 905 of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Independence Pirates, Northeastern State RiverHawks, and Missouri Tigers. Early Life and High School Career Mogbo grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa and attended Lincoln High School in Des Moines, Iowa. He averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game as a senior. Mogbo was lightly recruited out of high school. College Career Mogbo began his college career at Independence Community College. He averaged 10.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game as a freshman. He transferred to Northeastern State University after one season. In his lone season with the RiverHawks, Mogbo averaged 14.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He transferred to Missouri for his senior season. Mogbo averaged 8.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in 30 games with the Tigers. He declared for the 2023 NBA draft after the season. Professional Career Toronto Raptors / Raptors 905 (2023–present) After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA draft, Mogbo signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors on October 2, 2023. Per the terms of the agreement, he will split his time between the Raptors and their NBA G League affiliate, the Raptors 905.
