Jonas Aidoo
Jonas Parker Aidoo, an American basketball player, was born on December 10, 2002, in Durham, North Carolina. Standing at 6’11” (2.11 m) and weighing 240 lbs (109 kg), Aidoo plays as a power forward or center. He attended Durham Voyager Academy for high school. Aidoo’s college career led him to play for two different universities. He initially committed to Marquette but decommitted after a coaching change. He then played for the Tennessee Volunteers from 2021 to 2024. After his time at Tennessee, he transferred to the University of Arkansas, where he played in the 2024-2025 season. During his college career, he accumulated impressive statistics. For example, in the 2023-24 season with Tennessee, he averaged 11.4 points per game and started all 36 games. In his 2024-25 season with Arkansas, he averaged 6.9 points per game in 33 games played. His overall college career statistics show an average of 7.0 points per game in 123 games. He was also recognized for his performance, earning Second Team All-SEC in 2024. In terms of his professional career, Aidoo was eligible for the 2025 NBA draft but was not drafted. Despite not being drafted, he began his professional journey. Recently, on October 15, 2025, the Charlotte Hornets signed Aidoo to an Exhibit 10 contract, primarily to fill their G League roster. However, just one day later, on October 16, 2025, the Hornets waived him. He is expected to join the Greensboro Swarm in the G League for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. He is currently represented by the agency ADS Sports. As of October 21, 2025, Jonas Aidoo is a free agent.
